- Any cancellation or rescheduling of an experience requires 48 hours notice or is subject to forfeit. Cancellation and rescheduling requests must be made in writing to info@squamishwatersports.com
- Any group drop-in experiences (boat and paddle tours) and group courses (kite or wing intro courses of 3 or more participants) cannot be cancelled within 5 days prior the event
- Experiences may be cancelled for any reason, Squamish Watersports is not responsible for any related costs incurred by the clients of the cancelled experience.
- Any experience that has been booked in our system and then cancelled with proper notice is subject to a $35 administration fee prior to refund.
GENERAL
- Taxes are not listed in experience prices.
- Clients are responsible to verify all experience details through the confirmation emails and inform us of any questions 48 hours prior to their booking.
- For all group watersports bookings (involving 3 or more instructors) a 2-week cancellation policy is in place.
- All debit card transaction refunds must be processed with the original debit card physically present at the time of the refund.
- Refunds of purchases made through our website are valid up to 60 days after purchase.
- Refunds of purchases made through Point (in store Tap System) are valid up to 60 days after purchase and subject to a 5% processing fee.
- Refunds requested after the 60 day period are subject to an additional 5% processing fee and a $35 administration fee.
- Proof of payment is required when using an experience gift certificate.
- Experiences purchased in prior fiscal year (before Sept 1) are no longer refundable. You will be given credit equal to the value of the experience, valid for the next two years. Experiences purchased after Sept 1 will be valid for the following season.
- Credit purchase amount is valid for 2 years after purchase.
- $50 Administration fee is required to search any archived student data from more than 2 years back. Squamish Watersports does not guarantee that any information will be found.
- Store purchases are valid for return only if in new (unused) condition. Return are subject to a restocking fee.
- Squamish Watersports does not take any responsibility over any personal items left at our storefront location or brought onto the boat or on your experience.
- Policies and Prices are subject to change at any time.
JETSKI & BOAT RENTALS
- To prevent any possible damage to the vessels, rental clients are required to always stay 200m away from any shoreline.
- Through any channels, you are required to stay in the middle/deepest areas and between the buoy markers.
- You are permitted to approach public docks throughout your experience.
- Wetsuits ( at least 4 mm thick) are required to be worn for all participants for jet ski rentals.
- The minimum age requirement to rent a jet ski or boat is 21 years old. A valid driver’s license is required for jet ski and boat rentals.
- A boat license is required to drive a jet ski or boat. A temporary boating license can be issued for the rental.
- Please be aware that a deposit of $1000 (hold on card) is required in order to rent the motorized vessels
- Please be aware that a deposit of $2000 (hold on card) is required in order to rent the large fiberglass motorized vessel
- Please be aware that a deposit of $3000 (hold on card) is required in order to rent the large fiberglass motorized vessel including all fishing gear
– the credit card used for the deposit needs to be in the renters name
LESSONS
- 2 participants are required for all wakeboarding lesson bookings. If you are coming alone you are required to inform us of this at least 24 hours ahead of time and will need to pay for a spotter on your boat ($20/hr).
- Any group course (intro course etc.) cancellations need to be made at least 4 days in advance
- Wetsuit rentals are not included in listed experience prices (unless otherwise posted). 5mm seam sealed full suit and booties are required for all wakeboarding, kiteboarding, Jetski and Wingfoiling activities.
- Lessons and rentals will begin as scheduled regardless of client arrival time. Make sure to arrive 30-40 minutes early or more for all experiences to prevent any loss in time on the water.
- Hourly lesson/experience credit purchased is valid for the experience purchased for the current season. If used in the following season, credit can be used for its monetary amount.
- Instructor requests can be made through the booking system in the comment section. Administrators will do their best to accommodate your request but cannot guarantee at any time this instructor unless an instructor premium is paid (+$25- $35/hr based on the instructor). Even with a premium paid, scheduling flexibility may be required to accommodate the paid request.
GROUP BOOKINGS
- Groups of 8 or more participants are required to pay 50% of the total price of the experience when booking. The full payment is required 14 days prior to the experience.
- For all group bookings, a 2-week cancellation policy is in place. Group bookings are refundable up to 14 days prior to the booking date, with a 50$ administrator fee. Group bookings within 14 days of the experience date are nonrefundable, but can be used as credit towards other experiences.
REPAIRS
- All repaired equipment will be stored for up to 2 weeks free of charge after which there will be a charge of $25/week for any additional storage.
- All repairs have a 30-day workmanship warranty on the repair that was done. Proof of payment is required.
PROMOTION CODES
- Promo codes are valid while quantities last.
- Activities must take place and giveaways picked up by September 15 of the current year
- Purchases using discount codes or any Promotions are non-refundable and fully transferable
- Promo codes are only valid for selected services and do not apply to other promotions, already discounted services, kids’ lessons and camps
