Licence Requirement:

You must provide a screenshot of your crabbing licence at least 24 hours before your arrival for your experience.

Take Home Your Catch:

After your experience, you are welcome to take home your prawn or crab. Please bring a cooler, bucket, sturdy shopping bag, or another sanitary container suitable for transporting shellfish.

Handling and Safety:

If you choose to handle the shellfish, please do so with care, as there is always a risk of injury. Your guides will handle all shellfish and are also happy to demonstrate proper handling techniques if you would like to learn. As these are live wild animals, their behaviour can be unpredictable, and any personal handling is done at your own risk.

As a standard in the industry, we would like to encourage you to tip your guide as you see fit after your experience. Tipping is accepted via cash or e-transfer directly to your guide.

Transport Canada Safety Requirement:
As a passenger in our watercraft, Transport Canada requires that you understand the location and use of onboard safety equipment in case of emergency. Please watch the following video before your experience: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X99U8TTVpsA

Safety Equipment Location:
Please ask your guide where the safety equipment is located on your boat at the start of your experience.
