Rent a paddleboard and explore the beautiful Squamish scenery from a rarely seen angle! Our paddle boards are high quality inflatable boards, so they can easily fit in the trunk of your car, regardless of its size.
See the Squamish Estuary from a new perspective, or spend the day floating on your favorite lake!
Rentals include a deflated paddle board, paddle, leash, pump and life jacket.

Kayak lesson: Introduction to Kayaking
Learn the basics of kayaking and more.
Course Details
This course covers all the basics of kayaking, from loading the kayak onto a vehicle and getting in the kayak to guiding you through your first paddle strokes and current crossings. Starting on dry land, we will go over water safety basics and how to set up your equipment.
We will then jump into a calm waterway to go over position, balance and paddling techniques. Based on your comfort we will then travel along calm waterways to explore the Howe Sound. This course is perfect for those who have never kayaked. This 2-hour course is weather dependent and includes all gear.

Our kayaks are equipped with a rudder and all necessary safety equipment. The Tandem expedition kayak is a perfect vessel to head on long journeys around the sound. With plenty of storage you can plan for camping on any of the Sea to Sky marine Trail campsites.
Experience with wet exit and self rescue are necessary in order to rent this vessel.

Rental Details
policies
- Any cancellation or rescheduling of an experience requires 48 hours notice or is subject to forfeit. Cancellation and rescheduling requests must be made in writing to info@squamishwatersports.com
- For all touring and expedition kayak rentals as well as multi day rentals, a 7-day cancellation policy is in place.
- For all paddle rental or tour group bookings (booking 5 or more vessels), a 2-week cancellation policy is in place.
- For all group Watersports bookings (involving 3 or more instructors) a 2-week cancellation policy is in place.
- Refunds of purchases made through our website are valid up to 60 days after purchase.
- Refunds of purchases made through Square (in store Tap System) are valid up to 60 days after purchase and subject to a 5% processing fee.
- Any experience that has been booked in our system and then cancelled with proper notice is subject to a $35 administration fee prior to refund.
- Refunds requested after the 60 day period are subject to an additional 5% processing fee and a $35 administration fee.
- Experiences purchase in prior fiscal year (after Oct 31) are no longer refundable and can be fully transferrable upon request or used as store credit.
- Credit purchase amount is valid for 2 years after purchase.
- Hourly lesson/experience credit purchased is valid for the experience purchased for the current season. If used in the following season, credit can be used for its monetary amount.
- Instructor requests can be made through the booking system in the comment section. Administrators will do their best to accommodate your request but cannot guarantee at any time this instructor unless an instructor premium is paid (+$25- $35/hr based on the instructor). Even with a premium paid, scheduling flexibility may be required to accommodate the paid request.
- Experiences may be cancelled for any reason, Squamish Watersports is not responsible for any related costs incurred by the clients of the cancelled experience.
- Store purchases are valid for return only if in new (unused) condition. Return are subject to a restocking fee.
- Clients are responsible to verify all experience details through the confirmation emails and inform us of any questions 48 hours prior to their booking.
- Wetsuit rental are not included in listed experience prices. 5mm seam sealed full suit and booties are required for all wakeboarding, kiteboarding, Jetski and Wingfoiling activities.
- Lessons and rentals will begin as scheduled regardless of client arrival time. Make sure to arrive 30-40 minutes early or more for all experiences to prevent any loss in time on the water.
- Taxes are not listed in experience prices.
- 2 participants are required for all wakeboarding lesson bookings. If you are coming alone you are required to inform us of this at least 24 hours ahead of time and will need to pay for a spotter on your boat ($20/hr).
- Squamish Watersports does not take any responsibility over any personal items left at our storefront location or brought onto the boat or on your experience.
- 4hr and 8hr Paddle Rentals from October to April are available by appointment only and must be schedule around current availability.
- Boat and Jetski rentals are available from March 15th to November 15th yearly.
- 1hr and 2hr Paddle and Boat Rentals are only available from May 1st to September 15th yearly.
- All repaired equipment or consignment equipment no longer for sale will be stored for up to 2 weeks free of charge after which there will be a charge of $25/week for any additional storage.
- All repairs have a 30-day workmanship warranty on the repair that was done. Proof of payment is required.
- Proof of payment is required when using an experience gift certificate.
- $50 Administration fee is required to search any archived student data from more than 2 years back. Squamish Watersports does not guarantee that any information will be found.
