Our kayaks are equipped with a rudder and all necessary safety equipment. The tandem expedition kayak is a perfect vessel to head on long journeys around the Sound. With plenty of storage, you can plan for camping on any of the Sea to Sky Marine Trail campsites.

This course covers all the basics of Stand Up Paddle (SUP) boarding from getting on to the board to advanced paddling techniques.

Starting on dry land, we will go over water safety basics and how to set up your equipment.

We will then jump into a calm waterway to go over position, balance and paddling techniques. Based on your comfort we will then travel along calm waterways to explore the Howe Sound.
This course is perfect for those who have never paddled, kayaked or SUP’ed.

Our lessons and tours are tailored to your needs. To provide everyone with a very unique experience we do not create groups of unfamiliar individuals.

This lesson is weather dependent and includes all paddling gear.

Minimum 4mm full suit and booties are NOT included in the price and available for rent at $40 per person. You are also welcome to purchase a new wetsuit in our shop or bring your own minimum 4mm full suit.

This course is perfect for those who have never put foot in a canoe.

It covers all the basics of canoeing, from loading the canoe onto the crossbars of a vehicle and getting in and out of the canoe, to guiding you through your first paddle strokes and current crossings. Starting on dry land, we will go over water safety basics and how to set up your equipment. We will then take you into a calm waterway to go over position, team coordination, balance and paddling techniques. Based on your comfort we will then travel along calm waterways to explore the Howe Sound.
