Full & Part Time Seasonal Job Opening, Administrative & Possibly Paddle Guide

Required Availability:
May – September/October

This role blends customer service, organization, and hands-on support—with opportunities to get out on the water.

Key Responsibilities

This position is the heartbeat of daily operations. You’ll be the first point of contact for guests, helping ensure every experience runs smoothly from booking to launch.

  • Handle calls and emails
  • Schedule clients and process payments
  • Hand out gear and assist clients with equipment
  • Opportunities to support and guide paddling experiences such as kayak and SUP tours may be available
  • Experience guiding paddling tours is a strong asset, not required
  • Support instructors and help create a fun and safe experience for all guests

You’ll work closely with instructors, manage bookings, answer questions about conditions and lessons, and ensure guests feel welcomed and confident before they hit the water.

Who We Are Looking For

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys multitasking, thrives in a team environment, and brings positive energy to everything they do.

  • Confident English speaker
  • Friendly, organized, and reliable
  • Comfortable working outdoors and multitasking
  • Boat licence is an asset and can be completed online in one day
  • Legal to work in Canada

You don’t need to be a professional paddler—but being comfortable around water and eager to learn is key. If you have previous experience in hospitality, guiding, or outdoor recreation, that’s a bonus.

A Role With Variety

One day, you might be coordinating bookings, processing payments, and setting up paddleboards for a group. Next, you could assist with a guided kayak tour or help a family get properly fitted with life jackets.

This role bridges operations and adventure. You’re part organizer, part problem-solver, and possibly part guide.

If you love being busy, interacting with people from around the world, and working in one of the most scenic places in Squamish, you’ll thrive here.

Perks!

We believe summer jobs should be memorable—and rewarding.

  • Training provided
  • Work in one of the most beautiful spots in Squamish
  • Staff accommodation may be available

You’ll gain hands-on experience in outdoor tourism operations, build transferable customer service skills, and become part of a supportive, tight-knit team.
